One of the best of the best Of the best Mcdonalds in LA!!!
Best customer service! ALWAYS ON TOP OF THEIR GAME on wait time and food quality! Compared to all the other McDonald's. This one should be rated 100%. Everyone is so nice and sweet and no matter what time of the day you go in.  They always provide you with the best quality food. Sometimes I drive 15 miles just to get food from there rather than a walking distance McDonald's from my house.

    Keep up the great work

So I have been to many McDonalds over the years and I have to say, this location is a very well oiled machine.

From their drive-thru line to the efficient service you receive inside, they seem to have the system down pat.  McDonald's growing up we're definitely fast food joints where you would receive fast food service. But that seems to be more and more a thing of the past.

It appears fast food establishments are becoming more restaurant-like and this McDonalds is proof of that. It's clean, welcoming appearance definitely make for a nicer meal when dining in.

This location offers an order & pay now kiosk, but you can still pay a cashier if you choose to be old school.

There is plenty of seating inside and I've seen all walks of patrons inside from families with their children, young adults on their lunch breaks and businessmen conducting work meetings.

If you are wanting to experience an elevated McDonalds experience, this just may be the Mc D's that will deliver.

Macdonalds always trick us. Their Advertisement tempts you to buy macdonalds but once you buy the food oh my... expect the unexpected and don't expect it to be good though. I have tried the grand macextreme bacon from Spain as well and it's nothing surprising really. Macdonalds always disappoint me. Sadly..

McDonald's is my kind of place.
Hap, Hap, Happy Place. Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. I was 13 years old and my Mother used going for a hamburger, fries and a Coke at McDonald's as the ultimate prize for cleaning my room, cutting the lawn without giving attitude or making sure the trash cans came up from the curb. It was a time where you would never think McDonald's would ever use a preservative in their bread that would cause Cancer. Go figure! Or if you maintain a diet for a month on the variety of food offered you could kill yourself on the fat and salt put into the food. Go figure again. To there credit McDonalds has cleaned up some of their act. Like telling you how many calories you are consuming or if you want truly all beef quality you pay pound if flesh for Angus Beef Patty. Use to be no matter what, 2 ALL BEEF patties, special sauce and now they charge .50 cents for MAYONNAISE (Van Nuys location South of Sherman Way) and what use to be a clean and friendly place is NOW only a clean place. The Manger of the McDonald's on the North side of Ventura Blvd in Tarzana  (kiddy corner from Cici Cafe) is a bitter, I DON'T CARE your order is wrong YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR RECEIPT you can choke on our mistake as far I care attitude. LOVELY WOMEN!!! Could you imagine waking up every morning to that beautiful attitude? Good for the ambitious High School Student who is working his or her bottom off to go to college. Working for this women would be the constant reminder to GET YOUR COLLEGE EDUCATION or dont and enjoy the same wonderful environment and level of success.  Ending on a positive note I still love their Sausage Egg McMuffin no cheese (which is processed American Cheese that is mainly fat) and a little Mayo.

This is my 3rd review of this place. This is the McDonalds right next to my work, so I go regularly and it's important that I give updated thoughts. I want to like this McDonalds. It's the most convenient to me. They renovated so the inside is nicer with up to date tech and furniture. Now they utilize the app, leading to further savings. So in a vacuum, the place is fine and does just enough to warrant consistent patronage on my part.

That said, seems at least half of my visits I am let-down from a customer service standpoint. This morning I went through the drive-thru and was asked to wait at Spot 1. Which in prior experience has not been good and led to ridiculous waiting times. This was no different.

Ordered my food 10:57. After 7 minutes, I got out of my car and went inside. I asked "Hi there, I am in car port 1. Is my food ready? I've been waiting". I found out why. Not from the person at the cash register who basically stared at me and ignored me. But from the person who was responsible for bringing the food out to the car ports. Seems she was waiting for the food for car port 2 to be ready so she can lazily make just 1 trip. It's literally a 15 second walk from the counter to my car. You are sacrificing the quality of my food to avoid having to do that two times?????

Car in car port 2 was probably 3 cars behind me in the drive thru at least because I didn't recognize the car at all. Which probably meant my food had just been sitting there for a bit - and the temperature of my food reflected it, esp. the fries. I want warm, crispy fries. Not fries that became soggy because they'd been sitting in a closed bag for far too long. I noticed it right away but frankly did not care to raise a stink. I was hungry and just wanted to leave.

Oh and the lady didn't even apologize for keeping me waiting. She just said "Is this your food?" and recited my order. When I said "yes" she handed it to me and then she went out to car port 2. Not a single acknowledgement of the fact that I waited so long I had to get out of my car to get my food, thus defeating the entire purpose of a drive-thru.

I'd also like to echo the lack of safety I do feel in this area. There is constantly a homeless presence outside the building and inside can be sketchy at times as well. I often see people from outside just come in with a generic cup, fill it with soda and then leave with nary a care from an employee. Remind me again why I am paying for my drink? Yeah, I know it's just a $1 but still, money is money.

Ultimately the structural facelift of this McDonalds did nothing to address the customer service issues I have had in the past. Some might say "Look, that's the case with every McDonalds. They sacrifice in service to accommodate the speed and low pricing". As someone who has been to several McDonalds in the valley on multiple occasions, no, it's not the case with all of them. There are some that are awesome. This place has real issues and I've yet to see a commitment to improving upon them.
